The Akademie

 The Akademie für Fremdsprachen GmbH - private Fachschule was founded in 1971. It is situated close to the heart of Berlin's city centre - just 3 minutes from the famous Kurfürstendamm shopping street. The nearest underground stations are Uhlandstrasse and Adenauerplatz; plus there is Savignyplatz S-Bahn station.

 In addition to teaching general, commercial and business English, the school offers courses in German, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian and also prepares candidates for professional qualifications in translation.

 The Akademie is a recognised centre for a number of Cambridge and London Chamber of Commerce examinations and has been a CELTA centre since 1998.
